Join us for DISCOVERon Wednesday, April 9, 2025. This campus-wide event showcases the scholarship, creative activity, and intellectualachievement of the ۿ۴ý community with a particular emphasis on research. The tabs on this page are updated as events are scheduled and applications are processed. Please check back often for updated information on this year's event.

DISCOVER 2025 Schedule

Students can present their work at the poster session, which will be held from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. on April 9 in the Dolan Center for Science & Technology Atrium. There will be two 45-minute sessions, beginning at 1:00 p.m. and 1:45 p.m.

The Poster Session is sponsored by Sherwin Williams.

Students who present posters have the option of entering the poster competition. $100 cash prizes will be awarded for the top poster in each of the following categories:

  • Business

  • Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences

  • Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math

  • Professional Studies

To enter the competition, please submit your Poster Application and indicate that you wish to be entered into the Poster Competition.

Students can present their work during the conference-style live sessions from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. on April 9th in various classrooms in Dolan. Each session will be 60 minutes long and organized around a central theme. Students can present scholarly papers or participate in panel discussions on a given topic.

Calling all artists: Seeking entries that celebrate creative arts at ۿ۴ý!

ۿ۴ý students can submit their artwork in any visual media (paints, pencils, photography, fibers, sculpture, etc.) on or before April 3. All skill levels are welcome!The Art Show will be held on April 9, from 5:15-6:15 PM in the Curiosity Lab. This year’s theme is “Our Common Home.” Submissions will be displayed in the Grasselli Library & Breen Learning Center through the end of the semester. To submit artwork or more information, you can contact Stephanie Diaz atsdiaz@jcu.edu.
