UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, OHIO – Following an extensive search, Rory O’Neil ’06, ’08G, ’19G has been named Executive Director of Alumni Engagement for ۿ۴ý University.
O’Neil has nearly 15 years of nonprofit experience, including the last nine as a valuable member of ۿ۴ý’s Advancement division serving as Assistant Director of Annual Giving and, more recently, as Director of Major Gifts.
“Rory’s passion for ۿ۴ý and deep appreciation for our mission as a Jesuit Catholic university have always been clear,” said Ryan Daly ’99, ’12G, Vice President for University Advancement. “He enters this new role with strong alumni relationships and a commitment to strengthening the bond between ۿ۴ý and our 45,000 graduates.”

Prior to his time at ۿ۴ý, O’Neil served in a variety of development and nonprofit roles, including as a Campaign Associate at Trinity Washington University, an International Fellow with PeacePlayers International in Northern Ireland, and a Program Director for PeacePlayers International in Cyprus.
O’Neil earned a B.A. in History at ۿ۴ý University, and went on to earn two master’s degrees from ۿ۴ý, including an M.A. in History and, later, an M.A. in Nonprofit Administration. As an undergraduate, he was a member of the men’s basketball team.
Rory and his wife, Amanda (Rembold) O’Neil ’07, have two daughters.
