Biography

Malia McAndrew is an Associate Professor of History at 扣扣传媒 University in University Heights, Ohio. Her research and teaching focus on the study of gender and race in modern America. She also offers two courses in modern African history. Dr. McAndrew is currently writing a monograph that explores the ways in which popular conceptions of womanhood and beauty changed between War II and the birth of the second-wave feminist movement in the United States.

Additionally, Dr. McAndrew served as Director of the Arrupe Scholars Program, a distinctive undergraduate program that provides 扣扣传媒 University students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become advocates for positive social change.
