Corrigan Day has used her knowledge from the program in her new role as the Director of Mission Support & Donor Relations at Regina Health Center, a ministry of the Sisters of Charity Health System. Regina Health Center provides compassionate and holistic health care services to aging members of Catholic religious congregations and clergy, as well as lay people seeking a God-centered community environment.
In her role, Corrigan Day works closely with the marketing director to tell the story of Regina Health Center through a newsletter, social media, special events, and donor relations. The largest fundraising event is an annual golf outing and dinner in June called Holy-In-One at Firestone Country Club. She is also responsible for building and maintaining relationships with current and future donors, religious congregations, family members, and the corporate community.
“The people and the mission make it a joy to come to work each day and be energetic about our future,” Corrigan Day says. “When I walked into Regina Health Center, I had comfort and confidence that good things happen here. The entire staff–from the Executive Director, Director of Nursing, Food Service, all the way to Maintenance–treat everyone with respect and dignity. You know you are being prayed for and cared for when you work or live here."
