, previously known as National University of Ireland, Galway, is located in Galway, Ireland. The university has approximately 17,000 students and offers a wide variety of courses, including courses specifically for international students about Irish culture, language, and history. Galway is a good fit for most majors.

Financial Aid:

Students are billed directly by ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½ for tuition at the standard ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½ rate. All other costs are the responsibility of the student directly.

¿Û¿Û´«Ã½ financial aid can be applied to the tuition costs. It is necessary to consult with the Office of Financial Aid at ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½ to learn how your financial aid will apply to this program.

Accommodations:

The can assist students to make arrangements for housing, either on campus or in nearby student apartments. Students will be responsible for paying their housing bills directly.

Please keep in mind the following ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½ University regulations:

  • ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½ requires you to take 30 ECTS at NUI Galway (30 ECTS = 15 ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½ credit hours)
  • Grades you earn at NUI Galway will count toward your GPA.
  • NUI Galway requires a GPA of 3.0 and junior standing (sophomore at the time of application).

The deadline for applications to study abroad for Fall Semester is March 1, and for Spring Semester is September 1.
