All faculty and student research projects involving the use oflive vertebrateanimals must be submitted to the IACUC using theProtocol Review Form for Animal Care and Usebelow. Classroom use of live animals for teaching purposes must also be approved by the IACUC.
At the one-year and two-year marks of continuing protocols, animal researchers must submit theIACUC Protocol Continuation Review Formbelow. If an animal research project is to continue beyond three years, a newProtocol Review Form for Animal Care and Usemust be submitted before the end of the third year.
